Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 June 2026

Astrodam (“the app”) is a single-player puzzle game. We designed it to need nothing from you but your device. This policy explains, plainly, what the app does and does not do with information.

We do not collect any data

Astrodam does not collect, store off-device, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no network connections. Nothing you do in the app leaves your device.

Information stored only on your device

Your game progress (which rooms you've repaired, remaining hints, whether you've seen the intro) is saved locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults storage. This data never leaves the device and is removed if you delete the app.

Device sensors

To play, the app reads device sensors in real time, on-device only:

  • Motion & barometric altimeter — to move the astronaut by tilting and to detect when you physically raise the device.
  • Microphone — one puzzle measures the loudness of ambient sound. Audio is analyzed live to read a volume level and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
  • Screen brightness and charging state — read to detect puzzle conditions.

iOS will ask your permission before the microphone and motion sensors are used. You can change these permissions any time in Settings ▸ Astrodam.

Children's privacy

Because the app collects no data at all, it collects no data from children. The app is suitable for all ages (rated 4+).

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “last updated” date.
